Senior DBA – Oracle & Microsoft SQL Server

We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with solid experience in Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server to join a technical team responsible for administering and supporting critical enterprise environments.

Main responsibilities:

• Administering, maintaining and troubleshooting Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments;
• Monitoring and optimising performance;
• Managing backups, recovery processes, upgrades and patches;
• Administering high availability and disaster recovery environments;
• Resolving complex incidents and problems;
• Participating in platform migration, development and improvement projects;
• Automating administrative tasks and developing scripts.

We are looking for professionals with the following profile:

• Professional experience as a Senior DBA;
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server;
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard and Active Data Guard;
• Knowledge of SQL Server Always On;
• Experience in highly critical production environments;
• Experience in high availability and disaster recovery environments;
• Knowledge of Linux, Unix and Windows Server;
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and/or T-SQL;
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills;
• Good command of English.
