21 Apr 2026 News

Oramix attended the second edition of the IT Security Summit 2026, held at the Tivoli Kopke Porto Gaia in Vila Nova de Gaia. The event brought together cybersecurity professionals and decision-makers for a day dedicated to sharing knowledge, trends and challenges related to risk, compliance and organisational protection.

The NIS2 Directive was at the centre of the discussions, reflecting organisations’ focus on adapting to regulatory requirements.

In this context, Oramix presented its data security first approach, reinforcing the importance of placing data protection at the heart of the cybersecurity strategy. As the traditional perimeter continues to evolve, it is essential to maintain visibility over where sensitive data is located, who has access to it and how it is used, regardless of the environment.

During the event, Oramix hosted an executive lunch, bringing together professionals and decision-makers to share insights and discuss data security challenges and the need for a more structured approach to data protection.

To address these challenges, an integrated approach combining visibility, access control and continuous monitoring was presented. Supported by technologies such as DLP, PAM and DSPM, this approach helps strengthen information protection and reduce the risk of exposure.

The Oramix team was also present in the exhibition and networking area, where it had the opportunity to engage with attendees and share experiences regarding current data security challenges.

Oramix’s participation in the IT Security Summit reinforces its commitment to promoting practices that place data at the centre of the security strategy, aligned with regulatory requirements and the evolution of technology environments.
