Oramix attended Fortinet Accelerate 2026, one of the world’s leading cybersecurity events, held from 9 to 13 March at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The event brought together experts, clients and partners to discuss the challenges associated with protecting hybrid and multi-cloud environments, as well as the increasing complexity of digital infrastructures.
This year’s edition introduced two new solutions: FortiOS 8.0 and FortiSOC. FortiOS 8.0 expands the Security Fabric with AI-powered controls that provide greater visibility into shadow AI, AI agents for automating network operations, sovereign SASE options and quantum-resistant encryption. FortiSOC, meanwhile, is a unified, cloud-based security operations platform that integrates FortiAnalyzer, FortiSIEM, FortiSOAR and FortiTIP into a single console, supported by agentic AI workflows through FortiAI to accelerate incident triage and response.
New approaches to data and application protection were also presented, with particular emphasis on integrating artificial intelligence into cybersecurity, especially in incident detection and response processes. These approaches help accelerate analysis and improve teams’ operational efficiency.
Fortinet Accelerate 2026 also highlighted the shift towards more integrated security models. The convergence of networking and security plays a central role in reducing complexity and responding to an increasingly dynamic risk landscape.
