Most organisations have accumulated data over the years, but it is stored in silos, contains duplicates and lacks sufficient business context to be used effectively. This gap compromises many AI projects before they reach the production stage.

Pedro Rocha, Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer at Oramix, argues that the problem is not a lack of data, but a lack of maturity in managing that data. Without governance, quality control and structured knowledge, data is not ready to support AI models reliably.

“The problem is rarely the absence of data. It is the absence of maturity in managing that data,” says Pedro Rocha.
